Details, Details...

• The book cover is blue (for boys) or yellow (for girls) gingham fabric, and the child's name and photo are appliqued onto the front cover (as shown in the photos in the above examples).  If you do not have a photo of the child, the cover will include the face of the boy or girl illustration in place of the photo.  Over the illustration will be a clear pocket into which you can insert a photo later.
• If desired, you can add a dedication (e.g. "Happy Birthday Max!  Love, Grandma  August 31, 2005) to be appliqued onto the inside cover.
• The introductory page shows a scene of the child and his pet(s) standing in front of his house (color of house matches the child's).
• Each letter of the child's name has it's own poem and illustration.  The poem includes approximately 8-10 words that begin with the given letter.  Each illustration incorporates the words from the poem in a scene that includes the child (and pets if applicable).  Each illustration also includes at least one extra item that begins with the given letter that is not in the poem--finding this item makes a fun game for older children!
• If the child's name has an even number of letters, the final page is "THE END," as shown in the boy example book above.
• Book dimensions are approximately 7.5" x 6.5".  Thickness is 1 - 1.5" depending on the number of letters in the child's name.
